Stage Two fire restriction

FORT DEFIANCE – The Navajo Nation Stage Two fire restriction is in effect. Fire restriction prohibits attending or using open fires, including charcoal and coal fires outdoors, except propane, gas, or petroleum-fueled stoves in developed sites. Very high fire danger for dry vegetation and high temperatures with limited precipitation are conditions for wildfires to ignite. Ceremonial fires must be registered at 928-729-4246.
