Family of artists place 4 in modern art show

SANTA FE, N.M.

One Navajo family from Durango, Colorado, had four members selected for the fourth annual “IM:EDGE,” a show dedicated to contemporary Native art that was held at SWAIA’s Santa Fe Indian Market.

Parents Don Edd and Esther Beline, plus their two daughters, Chamisa and Sierra Edd, were all selected for “IM:EDGE” this year.

“I grew up in an artist family,” Chamisa Edd, 18, said. “They really pushed me to start it and that’s pretty much how it began.”
